While we love our Beauregard, his arrival initiated a cascade of events that ultimately disrupted our household's delicate balance. In the cat world, size eventually trumps seniority, so long-term residents must now be content with slivers of carefully rationed out time – and diminished territory.
All of our cats, including Beau, deserve better. He needs everything we give him, but more (except food). And he needs an audience for his antics, someone to admire the way he carries toys around, trotting them off to a favorite play spot with his long tail starched into a shepherd's crook.
Since we can't give him that, we're hoping someone else can. If that's you, please let us know.
